Mari Stewart is an associate attorney at the firm of Yee & Associates, P.C. Ms. Stewart graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1998. In 2001, Ms. Stewart became licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She obtained her law degree, summa cum laude, from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2003. Ms. Stewart served as an editor on the Texas Wesleyan Law Review Board of Editors, as President of the Women Law Student’s Association, and as Vice-President of the Intellectual Property Law Students Association. Ms. Stewart also served as an extern student-clerk for Judge Jerry Buckmeyer of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. She co-authored Cobranding on the World Wide Web, 8 TEX. WES. L. REV. 665 with Mike Rodenbaugh and Alan Herda.
Ms. Stewart is a registered patent attorney and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. She has experience in litigation, patent, and trademark law. Ms. Stewart’s primary practice area is patent law with a special focus on patent prosecution in the areas of computer software, computer hardware, and network architecture. She is a member of the American Bar Association.
