Sonya Bible
Sonya Bible is an associate at the firm of Yee & Associates, P.C. Ms. Bible graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering in 1992 and from The University of Texas at Arlington Graduate School of Business with a masters in information systems in 1996. Ms. Bible obtained her J.D from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2006. In law school, Ms. Bible served as President of the Intellectual Property and Ecommerce Society and was a recipient of MacLean Boulware Award. Ms. Bible obtained her LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Law from The University of Houston Law Center in 2007. Her previous employment includes working as a reservoir and production engineer, as an information systems consultant and as a web development professor. Her previous law experience includes serving as a legal intern with Halliburton’s intellectual property law division in Carrollton, Texas and as a part time associate at Conley Rose P.C. in Houston, Texas. Her most recent legal experience includes managing her own solo practice. At Yee & Associates, P.C., Ms. Bible concentrates her practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Ms. Bible has experience with the preparation and prosecution of applications in the areas of computer software, computer hardware, network architecture, wireless, and petroleum industry applications. Ms. Bible is a member of Texas State Bar Intellectual Property Section and the Texas Bar College. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
