Stephen Liu

  

Stephen Liu is an associate at the firm of Yee & Associates, P.C.  Mr. Liu graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2001.  Mr. Liu obtained his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2005. In law school, Mr. Liu served as the vice president of the Asian American Law Student Association and as the webmaster for the Intellectual Property Organization.  He was also a staff editor of the International Law Review.  His previous law experience includes serving as a legal intern in the Army JAG Corps, and most recently as an attorney at Baron & Budd P.C. litigating benzene cases.

 

 

At Yee & Associates, P.C., Mr. Liu concentrates his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, with an emphasis in the areas of computer software, computer hardware, electronics, and semiconductor technologies. 

Mr. Liu is a member of the American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Asian-American Bar Association, and the American Trial Lawyer’s Association.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.  His publications include: Copy Right and Copy Wrong: DVD Jon and 321 Studios Take on the Movie Industry, 39 Int’l Law. 161 (2005), and Engineering an Improved Acellular Nerve Graft via Optimized Chemical Processing, Tissue Engineering, Sept. 2004, Vol. 10, No. 9-10: 1346-1358.
