Stephen R. Loe
Stephen R. Loe is a senior attorney at Yee & Associates, P.C. Mr. Loe graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1998. Mr. Loe was a member of the Baylor Law Review and was the recipient of the Funderburk Evidence Award for the outstanding student in evidence.
Mr. Loe practices intellectual property law focusing on preparation and prosecution of patent applications. He also provides clients with patentability, non-infringement, invalidity, and freedom to practice opinions. Mr. Loe prepares and prosecutes patent applications for clients in a wide range of technology areas including telecommunications, optics, software, electronics, semiconductors, geophysical exploration and development, aerospace, robotics, and document handling technologies.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Loe was a physics graduate student and research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. As a research assistant, Mr. Loe spent summers in Los Alamos, New Mexico, acquiring data using the linear accelerator at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility (LAMPF) located in the Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL). He spent the remaining time each year on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania analyzing the data obtained at LAMPF. Mr. Loe is co-author of several papers published in peer reviewed journals.
Mr. Loe is a past Treasurer of the Computer Use and Technology Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Mr. Loe is a registered patent attorney and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
