Volel Emile is Of Counsel to the firm of Yee & Associates, P.C. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Highest Honors and received his Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Prior to entering law school, he was an engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey. Mr. Emile earned his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law and has over 20 years of experience practicing all phases of intellectual property law. Mr. Emile has been an in-house corporate counsel as well as owner and founder of the Law Office of Volel Emile. His experience includes patent litigation support, patent prosecution, patent licensing and IP transactional work, infringement and validity opinions, domain name dispute resolution, trademark prosecution, trade secret and employee non-compete agreements, and copyright registration.
Mr. Emile currently focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for clients in a wide range of technology areas, including computer hardware and software, electronics, semiconductor fabrication, power supplies, and communications technologies.
Mr. Emile is a registered patent attorney and is licensed to practice in the States of Texas and California as well as in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
